Accounts Assistant

Head Office – Kilrush, Co. Clare

Role

You will work within different departments throughout the company undertaking administrative duties, assisting the accounts department with invoicing, clients, and suppliers’ queries, so that business operations run smoothly.

This is a part-time role requiring 20-25 hours per week.

Main Duties

  • Process invoices, bookkeeping and journal entries in line with current processes.
  • Answer purchase ledger enquiries and deal with them accordingly.
  • Perform Creditor Reconciliations.
  • Liaise with clients/suppliers where required.
  • Process staff expenses and mileage claims.
  • Create payment runs.
  • Participate in resolving purchasing and expenses issues.
  • Process and reconcile credit card and petty cash receipts.
  • Review and implement efficiency processes and procedures where needed.
  • Assisting with other administration duties where necessary with other staff members.

Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience in a similar role 
  • Good experience/knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook 
  • Experience with Sage is an advantage. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills 
  • Ability to multitask and attention to detail.
